Hyderabad: Nandanoori Venkat Rao — father of former Indian hockey captain, triple Olympian, Arjuna as well as Padma Shri awardee N. Mukesh Kumar — passed away at a city hospital after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Thursday morning. He was 80 and leaves behind three sons — Rajesh, Mukesh and Suresh. The last rites will be held at the Bansilalpet crematorium in Secunderabad at 11.30 am on Friday.
