Bengaluru Bulls look to embark on a good home run
Bengaluru: Having got off to a decent start in the tournament, Bengaluru Bulls will look to up the ante when they kickoff their home stretch against Telugu Titans at the Sree Kanteerava indoor stadium on Tuesday.
The Randhir Singh-coached outfit, currently in the fifth spot, have won three, lost three and drew one of their seven encounters so far in the fourth season of the league. And they will look to make the most of the home support when the face the Titans, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Patna Pirates and Dabang Delhi over the next four days.
“We will do well here at home. We have made some mistakes which has cost us some close games but my players have learned from them and they will not disappoint the fans,” said the coach on Monday.
Once again the onus will be on Rohit Kumar who has been the standout raider for the team at crunch situations. In defence, captain Surender Nada and Mohit Chillar will shoulder the responsibility of organising the troops while Ashish Kumar's unpredictability can prove the difference.
With Rohit Ballyan doubtful with an impact injury, the young side will have to once again dig deep and stick to the game plan if they are to bag some points here, and try and put themselves into a strong position for advancing into the next round.
