VIJAYAWADA: Arjuna Award winner Vennam Jyothi Surekha of Vijayawada and her team have won the silver medal in the 42nd World Archery Championship.
The tournament ended on October 22 in Mexico. Surekha will come back home to Vijayawada by the month-end.
Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Sports OSD Ramakrishna congratulated Surekha’s father Surendra. In her career spanning seven years, Surekha has got 18 international medals.
