Ind vs Pak, Champions Trophy: Pitch and Weather report

India with an in-form team has the advantage of confidence and a balanced side compared to Pakistan, who are heading into the match with a 60-run defeat against the Black caps in the opener

India and Pakistan will face each other in the ICC Champions Trophy Group A clash on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Their last encounter in the Champions Trophy came in 2017, when the Men in green out-powered the star-studded Indian team led by Virat Kohli.
However, India with an in-form team has the advantage of confidence and a balanced side compared to Pakistan, who are heading into the match with a 60-run defeat against the Black caps in the opener.
Pitch:
The pitch at the Dubai stadium like other times is likely to favour pacers on Sunday. In the 59 matches played at the venue, seamers bagged 473 wickets, while spinners only managed 325 dismissals.
Dew will also have an important role to play.
However, India vice-captain Gill reckoned that dew won't be a factor in the clash between the arch-rivals and the team batting second will face the heat more.
Gill also said that anything above 280 is a good total, but the stadium has a history of low scores. Out of the 59 games, scoring more than 300 was only possible on four instances. Even in India's last game chasing a minimal 228 run target against Bangladesh, with a power-packed line up India managed to cross the target in the 47th over.
Anything above 260 would be a fine total and the chasing team would be under pressure, according to reports.
Weather:
In a good news for fans, who were worried after rain just days before the Bangladesh clash, the weather will remain sunny with no chance of rain on Sunday in Dubai.
The temperature will be above 32 degrees at 1:00 PM (2:30 PM IST) when the match commences. In the evening the temperature might drop to 25 degrees. The dew situation could be like the last game and would play little to no role as the game progresses making it hard for chasers.
