Renowned lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar responded to needless trolls in their own fashion after some social media users targeted the former Rajya Sabha member for his post praising Virat Kohli.
India star batter Virat Kohli crafted a skillful knock on Sunday against arch rivals Pakistan in a Group A match of the Champions Trophy that not only put to rest the questions on his form but also took the team closer to semi finals.
After team India's 6 wicket win over the traditional rivals, Akhtar took to 'X' and wrote, "Virat Kohli , zindabad. !!! . We all are so so so proud of you !!!"
A user commenting on the post, sarcastically wrote, "Aaj suraj kaha se nikla. Andar se dukh hoga apko to (Where did the sun rise from today, you must be sad from the inside)."
Without mincing any words, Akhtar replied, "Beta jab tumhare baap dada angrez ke jootay chaat rahe thay tab mere aazadi ke liye jai aur kala paani mein thay . Meri ragon mein desh premion ka khoon hai aur tumhari ragon mein angrez ke naukaron ka khoon hai .
