Paris Olympics: Manu Bhaker to be Indian flag bearer at closing ceremony, say sources

Manu Bhaker created history twice at the ongoing Paris Games. First, she became the only Indian woman shooter to win an Olympic medal at the 10 meter air pistol event. Later, she became the only Indian woman to win two medals at the Olympics. She won bronze along with Sarabjot Singh at the 10 meter air pistol mixed team event.

However, the IOA is yet to name the male flag bearer at the closing ceremony. Young sensation Lakshya Sen, will vye for the bronze medal after disappointment in the Semis and Neeraj Chopra will begin his campaign on August 6.

Meanwhile, Star shuttler PV Sindhu and Table Tennis star Sharath Kamal were the flag bearers of team India at the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics leading the Indian contingent.
