India will lock horns with South Africa in the finals of the T20 World Cup at Kingston oval, Barbados.
India and South Africa are unbeaten in the tournament. India in the semifinals defeated the defending champions England and South Africa registered a comfortable victory against Afghanistan to enter finals.
South Africa will be playing their first World Cup final and will be aiming to claim their first silverware at an ICC tournament, whereas India will be eyeing to win their second T20 World Cup.
Players to watch out:
India: Skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav are the batters to watch out. Both the players are in great form in the tournament, they led the team to win against the major teams like Australia and England. Rohit and Suryakumar stitched crucial partnerships when the team lost the wickets of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant. Rohit is India's leading scorer in this tournament. The Indian Captain has hit 92 and 57 against Australia and England respectively, while Suryakumar Yadav has scored 31 against Aussies and 47 runs against England.
Arshdeeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah are the key bowlers for India. Both the bowlers have shined well for the team and they gave crucial breakthroughs when needed. Arshdeep and Bumrah have picked 15 and 13 wickets respectively. Although the spinners
South Africa: Quinton de Cock is the standout player for South Africa with 204 runs in this tournament. He has been the only player firing well for South Africa in the T20 World Cup. He has a good average against India in T20s.
Rabada and Nortje are the bowlers to watch out. It would be a good contest between Rabada and India's opening pair, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Nortje and Rabada have picked 13 and 12 wickets respectively.
