Hyderabad: Star player Virat Kohli took a break after the end of IPL 2024 season. There was news that he had gone to London. It is known that Team India has already come to America for the T20 World Cup. Kohli also returned home from London. He left Mumbai and set foot in the US. Indian team is preparing for T20 World Cup 2024. The first match will be played on June 5. Four spinners have been selected in the 15-man squad. Two of them are spin all-rounder’s and two are specialists. However, former Australian captain Michael Clarke feels that India took a risky. He warned that the Aussies hopes of winning for the second time would face a threat from Team India.
Kohli reached the US.
"India is ready to take a risk as soon as it announces its team. It believes in spin. It has selected players differently from Aussies. Indian team's success depends on facing spin in Caribbean conditions. Team India is the biggest threat to the teams that want to win the World Cup. It is a bit difficult to say who the favorite is this time. Team India is among them. I can say one thing. Till now that team has played a lot of cricket. Compared to the other teams, the conditions may be different. This will definitely be useful for the Indian cricketers."
ICC's response to 'average' facilities
The Indian cricket team has already started preparations for the T20 World Cup in New York. There are reports that proper facilities are not provided here. Sports sources said that nothing is right from the pitches to the facilities. ICC responded to such news. "So far no complaints have been received from anyone regarding the practice facilities. They have not received any concerns about the facilities," the ICC responded.
