WWE veteran Rick Flair reacts to Rohit's walk to lift T20 World Cup trophy
Hyderabad: Rohit Sharma's walk to lift the T20 World Cup trophy has become the talk of the town as some are calling it a replica of the iconic walk of football legend Messi, while some others link it with WWE hall of famer Rick Flair's famous walk. Some fans also say it is not associated with them both and say Kuldeep has orchestrated the unique walk, after videos of him teaching Rohit went viral on social media.
However, the WWE star had claimed earlier that Rohit's walk was inspired from his legendary entrance walk. He took to X, where he posted the Indian captain's video and wrote, "@ImRo45 Taking A Page Out Of My Playbook! WOOOOO!"
75-year-old Rick Flair, now went on to recreate his walk one more time on social media. He posted a video of Rohit's walk along with his walk on the micro-blogging site 'X' and wrote, "The Worldwide Sensation! WOOOOO!"
Fans flooded the comment section, where many opined that Rohit Sharma was trying to replicate the walk of Messi, while some argued he did it better than Ric Flair. A user wrote, "He tried to do Messi but indeed created nature boy Ric Flair," while another commented "Hitman’s wooooooooooo is better than ric."
Meanwhile, team India, who were stuck at Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl, have now taken off to India and will reach New Delhi on Thursday morning.
