Deepika Padukone Steals the Show at Diljit Dosanjh's Bangalore Concert
Deepika Padukone, making her first public appearance after the birth of her daughter Dua in September this year, stole the show at Diljit Dosanjh’s Bangalore concert! When the singer called her on stage, the actor, dressed in a white sweatshirt and mom jeans, obliged. Several fan videos show Deepika grooving with Diljit to his synth-pop track ‘Lover.’
She also taught Diljit a few Kannada lines, much to the delight of those gathered for the show. And Diljit himself seemed to be floored. “Can you believe guys, we’ve seen her on the big screen, so beautiful. And on her own, she’s made a place in Bollywood. You should be proud, we are all proud,” he gushed. Though the whole interaction seemed spontaneous, one of the organizers revealed that it wasn’t really so.
“Of course this was planned, it wasn’t a coincidence as its being made out to be. She danced, and he endorsed her skincare brand,” the organizer said.
Deepika thanked Diljit on her social media handle, saying she hadn’t expected the love. She also thanked him for endorsing her skincare brand which was a give-away at the concert. The actor is currently staying with her parents in Bengaluru, while her husband Ranveer Singh commences his shoot for next project. She plans to return to work in March 2025.
