Baby due in September, same month Dua was born in 2024
Deepika Padukone is reportedly pregnant with her second child with husband Ranveer Singh. The couple is expected to welcome the baby in September, coincidentally the same month their first child, Dua, was born in 2024.
The development comes as a surprise to many close to the actor, as there was no public indication of her pregnancy until April 19. Sources say she has been completing pending work commitments ahead of her maternity break.
Deepika and Ranveer, who married in November 2018, welcomed their daughter Dua in September 2024. The couple has had a busy professional phase, with Ranveer’s recent success adding to his growing stardom.
According to sources, Deepika has completed work on Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka as well as King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and is now expected to take a break from professional commitments.
Soon after they shared the news with a cute post, friends of the couple from the film industry — Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and more — wished them heart emojis and congratulatory messages.
