Rakul Preet Singh on stopping stress in its tracks

Rakul Preet Singh names meditation and yoga as the two pillars of her mental equilibrium. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, she said, “I think 2018-19 was when I got introduced to meditation. Before that, I was a very hyper person. I still am to some extent, but I sort of understood how you can be centred even in the middle of chaos. It’s my grounding factor and I keep doing it through the day.”

The key, according to Rakul, is not focussed meditation but to know where to stop the stress. “It’s not like I have to sit for thirty minutes and meditate. But every time I feel there is so much happening, I just take a deep breath and set an intent and then I move forward with my day.”
