Nag takes the lead in promoting Telanagana tourism
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has reportedly urged Telugu stars and directors to create videos promoting temple and eco-tourism in Telangana. “In a meeting with prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, the CM asked celebrities to highlight the state’s temples and tourist spots. He was referring to late K. Vishwanath, who championed art and culture through his films. Nagarjuna attended the meeting and agreed to support the CM’s request by promoting Telangana tourism,” the source said.
Previously, stars like Chiranjeevi, Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, and Allu Arjun featured in videos raising awareness about cybercrimes and drugs, urging people to stay vigilant against online fraud. “These videos are being screened in theatres during government-sponsored timings. Even Vijay Deverakonda appeared in a video cautioning people about fake matrimony sites,” the source added. Now, Nagarjuna has stepped in to boost Telangana tourism, unveiling a video focused on the state’s scenic spots and culinary treasures. Sharing his personal travel experiences, he said, “I’ve been visiting various parts of Telangana since childhood. The Jodeghat Valley, Mitte Waterfalls, and Bogatha Falls are breathtaking. Warangal’s Thousand Pillar Temple and the UNESCO-recognized Ramappa Temple are must-visit landmarks.”
On the culinary front, Nagarjuna shared his favorites: Jonna Roti, Ankapur Chicken, and Sarvapindi. He also couldn’t resist praising Hyderabad’s culinary icons: “Who can forget the famous Irani chai, Karachi biscuits, and the world-famous Hyderabadi biryani? Just thinking about them makes my mouth water!”, he said in the video.
