Shah Rukh, Salman Skip Asha Bhosle’s Funeral

As the film and music fraternity assembled in strength on Monday at Asha Bhosle’s Mumbai residence to pay their final respects to the legendary singer, the absence of two towering Bollywood personalities, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, stood out.

Aamir Khan, who completes the trio of Khans, was present on the occasion, standing with the Mangeshkar clan, offering his support in their bereavement.

It is learnt that both Shah Rukh and Salman were in Mumbai on Monday. Enquiries revealed that both the superstars chose not to attend for “security reasons.”

It may be recalled that Salman was among the guests at the Ambanis’ bash a few days earlier, and that Shah Rukh Khan had attended Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral in 2022.
