Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has released the character poster for Shruti Haasan in his Coolie, starring Rajinikanth. The poster, which features Shruti holding a shovel, has quickly gained traction on social media platforms.
Shruti had hinted at her involvement in Coolie through Instagram stories when filming began in July. According to the latest update from Sun Pictures, she will portray Preethi, reportedly the daughter of Rajinikanth’s character in the movie.
Shruti has been maintaining her fitness regimen during the Coolie shoot by incorporating Martial Arts and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) into her routine. Known for her dedication to fitness, she ensures that her workout schedule remains consistent despite the demands of filming.
The actress recently shared a video on social media showcasing her martial arts skills. Notably, Shruti is practicing the same martial art form that her father, renowned actor Kamal Haasan, performed in the iconic film Thevar Magan.
