Amazon develops video AI model.
Amazon is planning to make a mark in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry as it has developed a new generative artificial intelligence.
According to a report by Reuters, the new generative AI model developed by Amazon can process images and videos, in addition to text.
The new AI model will help Amazon to reduce its reliance on Anthropic’s Claude chatbot, said the report.
According to the report, the new model, Olympus, can understand scenes in images and videos. With simple text prompts, customers can search for specific scenes.
Amazon invested additional $4 billion in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, considered a rival of OpenAI, followed by a $4 billion investment in Anthropic completed earlier this year, reported Bloomberg.
The E-commerce giant may announce Olympus at the AWS re:Invent customer conference next week, said the report.
