Apple Developing Foldable iPhone, iPad: Report
Apple is reportedly developing two foldable devices and it could be launched in 2026 or 2027.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple is working on two foldable devices. One is a 19-inch screen device and the other is a foldable iPhone with a screen larger than iPhone 16 Pro Max. The foldable iPhone will sport at least a 7-inch display, whereas the iPhone 16 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the tech giant has been working on both devices for years. Foldable iPhone will be hitting first to the market and it could be launched in 2026 or could be pushed back by a year.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg called the larger devices as foldable iPad and it would be like two iPad Pros side-by-side. The team is creating a screen without the crease which is visible on existing foldable phones when they are opened.
As per multiple reports, the delay in the launch of Apple’s foldable devices is due to the issues with the hinge and display cover.
