Apple may launch the much-anticipated iPhone SE 4 “as early as next week,” according to a report by Bloomberg.
Apple’s last iPhone SE model was released in 2022, and rumours suggest that the company may bring significant changes to the upcoming iPhone SE 4.
According to people with knowledge of the matter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple may announce the device as early as next week and will go on sale later in the month. Gurman also said that the company is unlikely to hold a launch event for the device and may reveal it on its website instead.
Apple’s in-house 5G modem will debut with the upcoming iPhone SE 4. The tech giant is aiming to overtake Qualcomm’s technology by 2027.
As per the report, Apple may unveil the upcoming iPhone SE along with the new Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds, expected to be launched on February 11.
The expected features of iPhone SE 4:
Display: iPhone SE 4 may feature a 6.1-inch display, unlike the 4.7-inch display which the third-generation iPhone SE had.
Camera: iPhone SE 4 will have only one camera. iPhone SE 4 may have a 48MP mains lens used in the iPhone 15. The iPhone SE 3 has a 12MP camera.
OLED Display: The earlier iPhone SE had an LCD display, but the new iPhone SE 4 may have an OLED display.
Battery: The iPhone SE 4 may use the same battery capacity used in the iPhone 14, which is 3279 mAh.
Chipset: The iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to feature the A18 chipset.
RAM: iPhone SE 4 will have 8GB of RAM, enhancing support for Apple’s AI technology.
Charging Port: iPhone SE 4 may have the USB-C port like the new flagship models.
