Apple Watch SE 3 Rumored to Launch With 'New Look' This Year

Apple is reportedly set to release a third-generation Watch SE later this year, and it is said to have a “new look”.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter noted that the redesigned Apple Watch SE is one of the new products that the tech giant plans to launch in 2025. However, he did not share any details regarding the design of the upcoming budget Apple Watch.

Earlier, Gurman reported that the Apple Watch SE 3 might have a plastic casing, as Apple had faced “cost and quality challenges.” However, this information was not included in today’s newsletter. The colorful design could be appealing to parents who want to purchase an Apple Watch for their children.

The Apple Watch SE 2 features an aluminum casing and is based on the Apple Watch 4, released in 2018. Launched in 2022, it’s available in India for Rs 24,900.

In addition to its design, the Apple Watch SE 3 is anticipated to feature a new chip that offers enhanced performance compared to its predecessor.

AAccording to Gurman, the premium Apple watches are unlikely to undergo significant design changes. They are expected to remain largely unchanged, except for a few rumored features that might be introduced in the Apple Watch 11 and Watch Ultra 3, such as high blood pressure detection for both watches.

The Apple Watch SE 3 is anticipated to be launched alongside the Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 in September of this year.
