Apple's iPhone 16 Series to Offer Improved Battery Life

Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 16 series later this year and the rumours, leaks of the upcoming iPhone are still emerging.

Rumours suggest that the upcoming iPhone 16 will offer better battery life than the iPhone 15 series. iPhones have come a long way pertaining to battery life. Currently, the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max are one of the best phones with better battery life.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to implement a stainless steel casing for the iPhone battery, potentially boosting the cell density by approximately 5 to 10%. This will keep the battery within safety limits and also comply with the new EU rules.
According to MacRumors, the new EU rules state that smartphone manufacturers should ensure that the owners of the phone can replace the battery using easily accessible tools by 2025. Apple aims to implement electrically induced adhesive debonding technology, which will enable users to apply a low voltage to swiftly remove the battery, bypassing the need for adhesive strips.
Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the energy density of the iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery cells is expected to increase, offering the advantage of extended battery life with the same size battery or a smaller battery with equivalent battery life.
He also said that increasing energy density will increase the battery temperature and to avoid that, Apple is using a stainless steel case. The case will protect the battery and also the user can easily remove the battery from the iPhone.
However, we will get to know the new battery tech, when the teardown of the upcoming iPhone hits the internet.
