Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok can now be accessed by all users of X for free.
X is allowing free users 10 free prompts every two hours, The Verge reported citing X users. Earlier, Grok was available only for Premium users.
This move will help Grok compete with chatbots like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic’s Claude.
In November, TechCrunch reported of X planning to open up its AI chatbot Grok to free users. The report stated X testing free access to Grok for users in New Zealand.
According to a post on X, Grok will let users generate 10 images but only 3 images can be analyzed per day and above that needs subscription.
Elon Musk’s xAI raised $6 billion in its funding round and it is also planning to launch a standalone app for its Grok chatbot, reported The Wall Street Journal.
