Leme Review: A 'sound' investment
The China-headquartered LeEco, hitherto known in India for its mobile phones has soft launched some accessories at its rupee-priced online shop LeMall.com — like ear phones, headphones and speakers.
We tried out the Leme Bluetooth headphones and liked the overall fee and good performance of what is a mid-priced product.
The 40 mm moving coil speakers deliver good sound at the lower (bass) frequencies — something entry level products rarely achieve.
The leather cushioned, adjustable headband makes for a comfortable fit and at 240 grams it feels very light.
The mike is hidden in the right side phone casing which also contains nicely recessed but easily accessible buttons for volume plus and minus, pause, previous and next buttons.
When linked to an mobile phone, the calls come through very clearly — in fact it achieves much better noise reduction and echo cancelling than when using the phone directly! The 195 mAh battery is claimed to provide 10 hours of phone talk and music playback.
The Leme headphones sells on the company's website for Rs 2499.
