Explaining the app's abilities, Google said, "The app allows you to type, talk, or even add an image to get the assistance you need. Take a picture of a flat tire for instructions on how to change it, or get help writing that perfect thank you note – the possibilities are endless."
To use Gemini, Android users can either download the app or can opt-in through Google Assistant. The tech company in its blogpost also addressed privacy concerns and said "Gemini keeps your files private to you, and they’re not used to train our models."
