Turkish engineers create real-life BMW Transformer
While cars with their own life and converting themselves into fighting robots at their own will can be only seen in the fiction movie Transformers, a group of engineers from Turkey seem to be getting closer to reality.
Well, they may not be even close to the real thing, but at least they have achieved something—transformation. If you check out the video below, you will see what they achieved. The Turkish engineers at Ankara Transformers have managed to take a bite from the transforming toys from Hasbro Transformers, where engineers converted a Xiaomi Mi Pad tablet into a transformer, to apply the same Hollywood principle to real-world cars.
They have tweaked a BMW sedan into a transformer, that is remote controlled and stands almost 15 ft tall when transformed.
For now, the car seems to be operated from a remote controller and contains no engines. It looks completely battery powered and can do nothing but simply take a shape of a Transformer robot by opening its doors and standing on its rear wheels. Check out the video below that will give you a complete idea on what the transforming BMW looks like.
The idea is similar to toy transformer cars out there.
