How to use two WhatsApp accounts on iPhone, without jailbreak
iPhone users can now rejoice with the information that they can also use multiple WhatsApp numbers on the single SIM handset, that too without the fear of losing warranty by jailbreaking them. Yes, you read right — use more than one WhatsApp number on an iPhone without jailbreak.
WhatsApp, being the most widely-used messaging platform around the world, has one of the most important restrictions — multiple accounts. Even though dual SIMs are now one of the basic features on most phones, WhatsApp has not managed to get that working for users, forcing them to use a second handset just for messaging. In fact, Facebook, Gmail and a few other services offer to use multiple accounts on the single handset.
To this purpose, there have been many third-party app developers who have managed to tweak WhatsApp to have them working with additional features including dual and multiple WhatsApp accounts. Using WhatsApp++, one can use multiple numbers on the same app. WhatsApp should however think about this small issue that could be a boon to many dual number users.
But what if you have a smartphone that can use only a single SIM card? For example, iPhone, Pixel, and even the Galaxy flagships only allow single SIM use, forcing you to get another handset for your second number.
While Android users can install and use WhatsApp + on their smartphones by simply sideloading the app after enabling ‘Unknown Sources’, iPhone users are always stuck since Apple has not allowed this feature in iOS. Jailbreaking the iPhone is the only way to sideload and install third-party apps, but the risk of jailbreaking involves security threats and warranty issues.
But now new information comes in from Redmond Pie that iPhone users can now install WhatsApp++ without having to jailbreak their handset and void expensive warranty. The process of installing WhatsApp++ is not as simple as the way it’s done on Android.
Requirements:
1) A Mac running the latest OS X or macOS Sierra. Don’t have Mac? No problem. Install a hackintosh on your PC: How To Install macOS Sierra Hackintosh On PC [Guide]
2) iPhone running iOS 9.3-10.1
3) Xcode 8 or above installed from the Mac App Store. You can download Xcode for free from the Mac App Store
4) An Apple Developer account ID. If you have a full version of Apple Developer account, you can have this run for 1 year before having to re-sideload it. Free Apple ID accounts will work too but in that case you will have re-sideload the app after every 7 days. To create an Apple Developer account ID, head to appleid.apple.com
