Now Instagram Users Can Add Song to Their Profile. (DC File Photo)
Instagram has announced a new feature that will allow users to add a song to their profile like the Myspace in the early 2000s.
According to the screenshots shared by the social media platform, the music added by the user to the profile will show up in the bio area. Until the user removes or replaces, the song will be featured on the profile.
Instagram launched this feature in collaboration with American singer Sabrina Carpenter. The Instagram profile of the singer will include her song “Taste.”
Here’s how you can add the song to your Instagram profile:
* Open your Instagram app and go to your profile page
* Then tap on “Edit Profile” button located below your bio
* Select “Add music to your profile” option
* Click on “Pick a song for your profile” and browse for the song that you want to add to your profile
* After selecting the song, choose 30-second portion that you want to feature on your profile
* Then save it
After this the song that you selected will feature on your profile and anyone who visits your file can play the song
