Instagram Now Lets Users to Schedule DMs
Meta-owned Instagram has rolled out the ability for users to schedule direct messages. The social network platform will be releasing the feature globally.
The feature will help users who want to reach their friends who are in different time zones. This feature will also let users send a reminder about something at a certain time.
This feature was first spotted by social media expert Lindsey Gamble.
To schedule a DM, you have to type a message and then hold the send button which will enable you to select a date and time to send the message.
According to TechCrunch, Instagram lets its users schedule a message up to 29 days in advance. After you schedule a message, you will see a banner “1 scheduled message” every time you open a chat until the DM is delivered.
