iPhone 16 Case Leak Reveals New Camera Layout, Dedicated Camera Button

TechNetBooks has acquired the pictures of the iPhone 16 cases, and it shows that the upcoming iPhone will come in vertical camera setup, action and camera button.

The cases confirm that the cameras in iPhone 16 will be vertical unlike the iPhone 15, where the camera was diagonally positioned. Apple introduced the diagonal setup camera in iPhone 13. The vertical camera setup looks similar to the iPhone X but the camera unit will be bigger than the iPhone X.

The images of the cases also confirm that there will be an action button in the iPhone 16 standard models. The action button was limited to the iPhone 15 Pro models but as seen in the images, it is coming for all the iPhone 16 models this year. Like the 15 Pro, the action button will replace the mute switch in the upcoming models.

The image also shows the cutout below the power button, hinting of a dedicated camera button which was earlier rumored to come only with the pro versions.

There won't be any change in the display size of iPhone 16 and 16 Plus compared to its predecessors. They will be coming in 6.1 and 6.7-inch displays respectively.
