Krutrim Cloud to host Meta’s Llama 4 AI models on Indian servers

Krutrim presently hosts two state-of-the-art Llama 4 models: Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick

Bengaluru: Krutrim announced that it began hosting Meta’s recently-announced Llama 4 open source models on Krutrim cloud. With this, Krutrim has become the first Indian AI company to deploy Meta’s Llama 4 models on domestic servers, establishing Krutrim as India’s most comprehensive open-source MaaS (Model as a Service) provider. With this, Krutrim has taken a step ahead in empowering the Indian developer community to seamlessly test, build, and deploy applications using Llama 4 models entirely on domestic infrastructure, eliminating data privacy and security concerns, at lowest ever prices ranging from ₹7 to ₹17 per million tokens.

As part of the initiative, Krutrim presently hosts two state-of-the-art Llama 4 models: Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick. The Llama 4 Scout Model is a 17 billion active parameter model with 16 experts, 109 billion total parameters, 10 million token context, optimised inference for 1 H100 chip. The Llama 4 Maverick comprises 17 billion active parameters with 128 experts, 400 million total parameters and 1 million token context window.

In addition to this, Krutrim Assistant V2 is gearing up for a launch later this month. One of the key features of the upcoming release is going to be DeepSearch, a tool designed to make data searches more precise and efficient. The Krutrim Assistant V2 will provide seamless accessibility, ensuring users can enhance productivity and efficiency wherever they are.

Krutrim previously announced that it is hosting the DeepSeek’s AI models on Krutrim cloud, becoming the first Indian AI company to deploy DeepSeek’s AI models on domestic servers. Krutrim currently hosts five state-of-the-art DeepSeek AI models ranging from 8 Billion to 700 Billion parameters, at prices ranging from ₹10 to ₹60 per million tokens.

Krutrim previously announced its plans to scale up its data centre capacity to a massive 1 GW by 2028. The data centre will be a computing and data storage powerhouse, enabling Krutrim to offer world-class AI services to India and the world.
