nubia X dual touchscreen smartphone launched with AI cameras
nubia has today announced its future generation smartphone nubia X in China. The latest flagship smartphone by the company sports two touchscreen displays, one on the front and the other one on the rear. The phone can be unlocked in just 0.1 seconds with the two fingerprint scanners that are placed on either side of the smartphone. The AI dual-screen switching feature can show the display contents of the front screen on the secondary display when the device is flipped. In addition to the dual-screen design, the secondary screen in a first offers features like eye protection mode.
The smartphone is powered by a 2nd generation Snapdragon 845 chipset. The 18W fast charging technology enabled 3,800mAh battery fuels the smartphone. With 5 per cent battery life remaining in the ultra-low power mode, the smartphone can function for up to 3 hours.
The handset comes in three colour options — Deep Grey, Black Gold and Sea Blue. The 6GB + 64GB variant for the Deep Grey version is priced at 3,299 yuan (about Rs 35,000) while the Sea Blue version costs 489 yuan (approximately Rs 36,000). The 8GB + 128GB Deep Grey version costs 3,699 yuan (about Rs 39,000) while the Sea Blue variant in the same configuration costs 3,799 yuan (about Rs 40,000). The top of the line 8GB + 256GB version is priced at 4,199 yuan (about Rs 44,000) for the Black Gold version while the Blue-Gold variant is priced at 4,299 yuan (about Rs 45,500).
The nubia X features f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel + f/1.7 aperture 24-megapixel dual camera module. The dual lenses offer features like HDR, AI portrait mode, AI scene recognition, dual pixel PDAF, 240fps slow-motion video recording, dual tone LED flash and for capturing brighter selfies, it features a large-size soft light LED. The phone has no selfie camera The dual rear cameras of the phone can be used to capture top-quality selfies. The rear-facing display can serve as a viewfinder while shooting selfie images. Hence, the company claims that the nubia X could one of the best selfie capturing smartphones.
