This insane Pixel 4 feature will blow your mind, and no its not Motion Sense

Google recently announced the launch of a new feature called Live Captions which transcribes audio into text in real time and displays it on the screen. Now an XDA developer has helped us understand how the feature works.

The feature analyses audio streams from any source and places captions on the display. According to Google, the feature will only come to select Android devices running Android 10. With the Pixel 4 coming out in two weeks, it is very likely that the Google flagship will be the first phone to show-off the feature.

The feature is currently only available in English. Here’s a video explaining the feature.

The feature will require high memory and other resources, and hence will be available only on select devices.
