Samsung accidentally leaks the image of Galaxy Note 9

A fresh report now confirms that the Galaxy Note 9 would come with a headphone jack.

Samsung is all set to launch its next Note series smartphone — Galaxy Note 9 on August 9. However, ahead of the official launch, much has already been leaked online about the next-generation Galaxy Note model. A fresh report now confirms that the smartphone would come with a headphone jack.

According to CNET, Samsung has published the pre-order announcement for the Galaxy Note 9 on its website, ahead of the launch. The page, first spotted by Evan Blass, reads, “Say hello to superpower” and invites customers to preorder and be “one of the first to experience it.”

The page shows an image of the smartphone that clearly confirms that the Note 9 will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, switched-up dual camera and upgraded S-Pen stylus. In addition, it resembles the Note 8 very closely. As per the image, the device could be available in the Blue colour variant alongside a yellow stylus. Unfortunately, the page has been removed now, but some report claims that the page was leaked accidentally.

Among other specifications, some of the early reports claimed that the Note 9 could come with a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is expected come with an Exynos 9810 chipset which is the same chipset powering the Galaxy S9. However, a recent Geekbench listing suggested an Exynos 9820 SoC. The new model is rumoured to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.
