4 ways the iPhone 11 series will be different from ones before
Specifications of the iPhone 11 series were leaked last week and we now have some very exciting features to look forward to, although they haven’t received Apple’s confirmation. Launching on the 10th of September, the three phones are expected to be a treat over and above previous series in terms of functionality, looks and durability. Here are four things, as per the specs leak, which will make it better.
1. More Colourful
So far, in the world of Apple products everything has been Black, White, Grey and even Gold. With models in Purple and Green, leaked specifications of the upcoming iPhone 11 hints that the brand could be going colourful.
Other changes will also be there in the iPhone 11 series. Leaks suggest that the high-end varieties of the phones will have frosted glass at back, which while would not mean functional differences the looks will change.
2. Better Camera
The iPhone 10 series wielded a dual camera system, in a horizontal set-up. However, two of the models in the upcoming 11 series are expected to come with three sensors in a square set-up at the back. The iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max are, according to recent leaks, expected to have three 12 MP sensors at the back with a flashlight. This will have an ultra-wide lens as well. Meanwhile, the iPhone 11 will continue with a 12 MP dual camera set-up.
3. Improved resistance
Apple usually charges a bomb for iPhone repairs and with a fragile screen prone to damage its handling gets even more stressful. However, with the new series butter-fingered Apple fans can rejoice. The new series is expected to come with a better, improved shatter-resistant glass in the front.
In another improvement of its durability, the phone is expected to have greater water-resistance. According to Bloomberg, Apple has dramatically enhanced water resistance for the new models, which could allow them to be submerged under water far longer than the 30-minute rating on the current iPhones.
4. Faster A13 chipset
The newest models will wield the unreleased and awaited A13 chipset in the phones. It shall improve the speed on the device, power-efficiency, gaming experience as well as provide on-machine learning experiences. Bloomberg reported that the chip will have a new “AMX” or “matrix” co-processor, to handle some math-heavy tasks, so the main chip doesn’t have to. That may help with computer vision and augmented reality, which Apple is pushing as a core feature of its mobile devices.
