One handset that has been gaining a lot of traction in the rumour mill is the Xiaomi Mi A2. A few days ago, a leaked photo leaked online which is believed to be the Xiaomi Mi A2 running on a stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo.
Now, a report by MySmartPrice has shed some light on what RAM, storage options and colours the Mi A2 will come in. The report states that though the launch date of the Mi A2 in India is yet unknown, the smartphone is expected to make its global debut in Spain with its release set for July 25. Sources have informed them regarding the colours and the storage options that will be available when the handset launches in Spain later this month.
The Mi A2 will be available in Blue, Gold and Black colour options. Apart from this, the Mi A2 will be launched in four storage configurations. The entry-level version will feature 4GB RAM and 32GB storage; the slightly more expensive version will have 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The higher-end version will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage while the top of the line variant will feature 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
There are a few specifications available as well and when the Xiaomi Mi A2 launches it will come with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Mi A2 will feature a Snapdragon 660 SoC with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and an Adreno 512GPU. The handset will be launched with Android 8.1 Oreo. The Mi A2 will come with a dual-camera system with 12MP and 20MP shooters on the rear and a 20MP front-facing camera to click selfies.
With the launch date looming close, we can expect all this and more to be finalised before its global debut.
