Apple will be launching its most anticipated iPhone 8 this year, and thanks to the web we have no shortage of leaks, renders, concepts and analysis. However, the phone will not be arriving until late-2017, the speculation keeps piling.
Few drawings of the iPhone 8, allegedly sketched by a Foxconn employee have surfaced on the web, revealing the design of the handset. The images were posted on Weibo by a leaker that goes by the name KK.
The sketch suggests that the phone will house a dual camera setup that stacks both lenses vertically rather than horizontally. The leak also claims that the device will come with augmented reality features and 3D functionality.
The leaker also claimed that the front panel will not feature cutouts, suggesting the front camera will be housed underneath the screen. The sketches also confirms the removal of physical home button, meaning the fingerprint sensor will be placed under the display.
The Cupertino company has been testing prototypes for the forthcoming iPhone, so even if these drawings are accurate, there’s no assurance of the phone’s final design.
