Hello OnePlus 6 leaks leave nothing to the imagination
There’s no doubt about the fact that OnePlus is doing a great job to put the OnePlus 6 in the hype. First, we were subjected to the fact OnePlus is jumping in on the notch bandwagon. Once that was put out, we were told that the smartphone will sport the flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in its most expensive variant. However, the Chinese social media has got its hands on a leaked official render of the OnePlus 6, which doesn’t leave anything to the imagination.
The OnePlus 6 is shown flaunting a narrow-bezel display with the infamous display notch sitting on the top. The notch consists of the earpiece, the front camera and the sensors, like any other Android smartphone flaunting the display notch. The bottom lip is noticeable but is still pretty slimmer than the current OnePlus 5T. The phone also seems to be retaining the hardware buttons in the familiar OnePlus positions, including the Alert Slider, which is, in turn, rumoured to adjust the focus while shooting pictures.
The leak also shows the default OnePlus 6 wallpaper, which is in tune with the ones that the OnePlus 5 and 5T debuted with. The renders also carry a logo of DxOMark on the top-right corner, which suggests that the phone is already in the DxOmark test lab and is slated for launch pretty soon. In fact, rumours reveal that we could see the OnePlus 6 by May 5. The DxOMark logo carries a slot of three-digit score, which means that the company is expecting a rival Mi MIX 2S-beating score of more than 101. Will it able to beat the Huawei P20 Pro's DxOMark score of 109?
Another leak from Weibo recently showed the three colour variants that the OnePlus 6 could possibly come in. The leaks show the OnePlus 6 in blue, white and black colours — all of them flaunting a glass rear panel. One unique trait of the upcoming OnePlus 6 is the presence of a red Alert Slider as standard on all variants. The rear is also shown sporting a Galaxy S9+ inspired rear dual camera module with the fingerprints sensor sitting under it.
Stay tuned for all the latest updates and information related to the upcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone.
