Leaks reveal details of what could be LG\'s new G Tab V
Listings on the radio certification website called RRA in South Korea as well as that on Google have revealed that LG may be working on re-entering the tablet market. The South Korean technology giant had last produced a tablet in July of 2017, which was the G Pad IV.
Specifications from the leak reveal that the tablet will have a 10.1-inches screen having a resolution of 1920×1200. Thus, the screen ratio on the upcoming tablet shall be 16:10. On the hardware aspects of it, it shall have a single selfie camera in the front, however details of the tablet’s rear camera as well both of their resolutions haven’t been discovered, yet.
Inside, the device shall have 4GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage. This shall be supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC inside, running Android 9.0 Pie on LG UX customizations. Furthermore it shall not support NFC but will have LTE support. According to news portal GSMArena, it might as well come with two battery capacities with one at 6,000 mAh and another version with 8,200 mAh.
The device had been code-named LM-T600L and even though it is LG’s entry into the tablet market after a while, the most buzz this leak has made is surprise over its use of an almost three-year-old SoC. Below, you can also see a leaked render of the LG G Pad V.
The phone has received the green light from Google to run its Play Store and Google Play apps. No price or launch date related rumours have been heard of so far.
