Shocking: Apple accidently confirms 2019 iPhone 11 details
The upcoming Apple iPhones have been well detailed in leaks and rumours. These upgrades will surely delight Apple fans the world over as well as frustrate them in equal measure. However, Apple still had one major surprise that was kept under wraps; that is, until today.
Thanks to a leak from the reputable iHelp BR, who previously uncovered the iPhone XS Max that was concealed deep within the beta version of iOS 12, have discovered that Apple hasn’t learnt a lesson from its past blunders. This time around, Apple has revealed the launch date of its iPhone 11 lineup in a new beta release of iOS 13.
iHelp BR has discovered that hidden deep within iOS 13 beta 7, there was a screenshot that is labelled ‘HoldForRelease.’ The newly uncovered image shows the notched Home screen of an iPhone with the date on the calendar set to Tuesday, September 10, 2019. If this isn’t enough proof, then it also falls in place with the shipping date of September 20 which was accidentally revealed last week.
The September 10 date falls on a Tuesday which also happens to be a day where Apple has traditionally set for iPhone launches.
As per a report by Forbes, “Could all this be an accident? Highly unlikely. As iHelp BR found last year, for all its talk about secrecy, Apple enjoys hiding easter eggs in iOS betas. Both iOS 11 and iOS 12 pre-release code has leaked iPhone launches in the past and you don’t call a file HoldForRelease unless you want someone to open it’.”
With all this being said, Apple fans the world over are still likely to witness a few surprises which most likely be the new iPhone naming scheme, the larger batteries and the triple rear camera setup.
