Samsung unveils Galaxy J8 with 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display

Samsung has launched the Galaxy J8 in its new Infinity Series product portfolio. The J8 is the new mid-range device from Samsung that features a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display and with dual cameras setup.

The Galaxy J8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It supports microSD expansion up to 256GB. It features 16MP+5MP dual cameras with f(1.7) and f(1.9) apertures on the rear and a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f(1.9). The dual camera delivers Samsung’s ‘Live Focus’ feature for the portrait effect. The cameras additionally feature several other features such as Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly feature etc. For added security, the device has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back below the dual camera's setup.

The Galaxy J8 is fueled by a 3500mAh battery and lastly, it runs on Android Oreo 8.0. The J8 is priced at Rs 18,990 and features in Black, Blue and Gold colour variants.
