Five ways Apple's iPhone SE disappointed us
Mumbai: Last week, Apple unveiled the latest iPhone SE, and touted it as the ‘most powerful 4-inch smartphone ever’. The iPhone SE received a lot of mixed reactions, where some were glad about Apple moving back to a compact build, others were disappointed with Apple’s zero effort in working on a new smartphone body.
We put together five things that are missing in Apple’s iPhone SE:
First and foremost, a good front facing camera! While the iPhone SE sports a powerful 12MP camera at the rear, the front facing camera is still the same as the iPhone 5S’ 1.2MP snapper.
Where the iPhone 6S features a much more superior and a snappy fingertouch sensor, even after the technology being present in the House of Apple, the iPhone SE uses the older sensor featured two and a half years ago in the iPhone 5S.
As compared to the iPhone 6S, the display of the iPhone SE is much inferior. Where the iPhone 6S features a display with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels, the iPhone SE’s just 640 x 1136 pixels. However, the pixel density of both the smartphones is the same.
The 3D Touch display feature won the hearts of Apple fans at the launch of the iPhone 6S. However, the feature that became an important Apple innovation was seen missing in the tech giant’s latest smartphone.
And the last and the most important being the missing 128GB model in the iPhone SE. As it is well known, Apple does not allow its users the option of expanding existing internal storage memory, but the introduction of the 128GB model with the 6th generation iPhone, was appreciated by most apple users. However, the Apple iPhone SE rids its users that option!
