Apple will be launching the iPhone 16 series in the month of September which includes - iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will see a design change, whereas the Pro Models may sport bigger displays, enhanced cameras, and faster charging.
Display
There won’t be any change in display size of iPhone 16 and 16 Plus but the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max might sport larger displays. The 16 Pro may come with a 6.3-inch display and 16 Pro Max with 6.9-inch display.
Design
The iPhone 16 standard models will have vertical camera setup unlike iPhone 15 where the camera was diagonally positioned. There will be an action button in the iPhone 16 standard models and a dedicated camera button which was earlier rumored to come only with the pro versions.
Camera
The iPhone 16 standard models may not get any camera upgrade but Pro models may come with an upgrade. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max could have advanced 48-megapixel sensor for better performance, better dynamic range and noise control. Pro models could also feature upgraded 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera for better low-lightning images. Both the pro models could get 5x Telephoto lenses in 2024, which was limited only to the Pro Max model. iPhone 16 Pro Max could also feature a super telephoto periscope camera for increased optically zoom.
Battery
iPhone 16 battery could get battery size increase to 3,561 mAh. 16 plus may see a decrease from 4,383 mAh to 4,006 mAh. The pro models will see a small increase, 16 pro to feature 3,355 mAh battery and Pro Max may get 4,676 mAh battery.
According to leaksters, the upcoming iPhone 16 will offer better battery life than the iPhone 15 series. Currently, the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max are one of the best phones with better battery life.
Fast Charging
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will offer faster charging speeds. The iPhone 16 Pro models will support 40W wired charging and 20W Magsafe charging.

According to an image posted by Sonny Dickson on X, the iPhone 16 standard models may come in 5 colours and Pro models in 4 colours.
iPhone 16 and 16 Plus colours: The standard models may come in Blue, Pink, White, Black and Green.
iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max: Natural Titanium, White Titanium, Black Titanium and Bronze Titanium.
The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro will have a glossier look unlike the brushed finish of iPhone 15 Pro models, as Apple is using an improved process for the colouring of Titanium. But it will be more resistant to scratches.

Bezels
The iPhone 16 Pro will feature the thinnest bezels on a smartphone display ever. It is said that iPhone 16 Pro bezels would be thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra which is around 1.5 mm.

iPhone 16 series will adopt a new A series chip. The standard 16 models will feature A18 chip and the Pro models will feature the A18 pro chip.
