OpenAI has launched a powerful version of chatbot called the ChatGPT Pro and it is priced at $200 (Rs 17,000) per month.
“ChatGPT Pro provides a way for researchers, engineers, and other individuals who use research-grade intelligence daily to accelerate their productivity and be at the cutting edge of advancements in AI,” said OpenAI.
By subscribing to the ChatGPT Pro, users will have unlimited access to OpenAI o1, o1-mini, GPT-4o and Advanced Voice. The plan also includes access to o1 pro mode, which the AI company said, “a version of o1 that uses more compute to think harder and provide even better answers to the hardest problems.”
OpenAI said that compared to o1, the o1 pro mode performs better on machine learning benchmarks across math, science and coding.
“Almost everyone will be best-served by our free tier or the $20/month plus tier. A small percentage of users want to use chatgpt a TON and hit rate limits, and want to pay more for more intelligence on really hard problems. the $200/month tier is good for them!” said CEO Sam Altman after the launch.
The AI company said that it has fully rolled out OpenAI o1 to ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Pro users.
