Resumes of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates when they were 18-years-old have gone viral on social media.
The resumes of the two icons in the technology world were posted on X by Jon Erlichman. “Steve Jobs and Bill Gates’ resumes at age 18,” he wrote on the post.
In the Resume of Steve Jobs, his special abilities are listed as “electronics” and “tech.” Under “interests,” it shows ‘design engineering’ and ‘digital’.
On the other hand, Bill Gates mentioned his expertise in programming languages which are FORTRAN, COBOL, ALGOL LISP, BASIC, JOSS and machine languages of computers including PDP-10, PDP-8, CDC-6400, NOVA 1200 and more. The resume also mentions his partnership with Paul G Allen, with whom he later on founded Microsoft. They both “designed and put together a system for traffic engineers to study traffic flow.”
The post has more than 1 lakh views and Netizens were amused by the two resumes.
“This is history. It’s fantastic!” a user wrote. While another user commented “Fascinating.”
A third user wrote,” No phone for Jobs. Can you imagine? And the impact he’d have on “phones” in the future.”
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple and introduced the iPhone, iPad, iMac and iPod to the world. He died on October 5, 2011.
Bill Gates along with Paul Allen in 1975 founded Microsoft, the world’s largest software company and he is also for charitable works. He established the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000.
