Samsung To Unveil Galaxy S25 Series on January 22: Report
Samsung will be holding the Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, where Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series smartphones.
According to a report by ET News, the Galaxy S25 series will be launched at the event, set to be held in San Jose, California. Earlier, San Francisco was rumoured to the venue for the Unpacked event.
Samsung focuses on implementing A performance without making major changes to the design of the smartphones.

Chipset: All the three Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Earlier, Samsung planned to go with its Exynos 2500 for S25 and S25 plus models, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset for S25 Ultra but due to yield issues, they went for the Snapdragon chipset for all the models.
Display: Galaxy S25 is set to sport 6.16-inch display, while 6.6-inches for S25 Plus model and 6.86-inches for Ultra model.
Design: Samsung may adopt round corner design for Ultra, which earlier existed on the S general and Plus model.
Camera: There are only a few changes to the camera performance. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have its pixels increased from 12MP to 50MP. The rear camera comes with a 200MP lens, ultra-wide-angle 50MP lens, a telephoto 3x zoom 10MP lens, and a telephoto 5x zoom 50MP lens.
Samsung S25 and S25 Plus will come with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. All three models have a 12MP front camera.
Battery: The charging speed and battery capacity is expected to be the same as the previous model. S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra will have 400o mAh, 4900 mAh and 5000 mAh battery capacities respectively.
RAM: The basic RAM of Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra start at 12GB. S25 Ultra RAM capacity increases to 16GB.
Storage: Samsung may ditch the 128GB storage option and may start with a 256GB option.
