Tech giant Meta has announced that it will make call dialer inbuilt into the Whatsapp only for iOS users for now.
The company is exploring ways to make dialer available on Whatsapp that will allow users to call directly from the app even without saving the phone number to their contacts.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, the latest call dialer version of Whatsapp looks quite similar to the iphone’s default dialer for regular calls. The app’s user interface is simple, just dial the number on Whatsapp by hitting the (+) button in the calls icon on the app. The feature makes easy for users to make quick calls without saving the number every time. Recently, Whatsapp also noted that it is making several updates to improve the quality of video and audio calls on the app.
Moreover, Whatsapp allows users to host a call with any specific members of a group chat. Going back to the new call dialer update, the feature is now available for users who have the latest beta version of Whatsapp installed via TestFlight.
