10-year-old British-Indian surpasses Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawkings in IQ

A ten-year-old British-American boy made headlines for surpassing Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawkings in IQ.

Krish Arora, from Hounslow in West London, astounded the world by achieving an IQ score of 162.
Krish has now claimed a place for himself in the top 1 percent of the world's most intelligent people and has now been accepted into Mensa, a stimulating, intellectual, and social society,' as per a report by Metro, a UK-based news outlet. He is also set to join the country's one of the top grammar schools, Queen Elizabeth's School in September.
The 10-year-old not only excels in academics but also in music and other extracurricular activities as well.
"Primary school is boring, I don't learn anything. All we do is multiply and write sentences all day. I like to do algebra," he told a media outlet.
He has won awards as a pianist and has been enrolled in the Trinity College of Music's "Hall of Fame." Currently, Krish holds a grade 7 piano certification, which demonstrates his unusual musical prowess.
In West London, he has won many musical competitions and outshone contestants that were four years senior to him.
His ability to recite complex instrumentals just from his memory and without needing a music sheet is even more fascinating.
His parents stated that he can recall entire songs on the piano just by his memory.
Krish Arora's parents proudly share that their young prodigy is a master of chess and math puzzles, excelling at nearly everything he takes an interest in—often outpacing them within minutes. They first recognized his exceptional brilliance when he was just four years old, realizing they had a budding genius in their midst.
His mother told My London, "He was reading very early, so when he was four he was fluently reading and was doing complex decimal divisions around that time. His spellings were also really good for his age. So we did see the sparks."
After playing chess only for four months, Krish managed to defeat his mentor, a seasoned player with an impressive FIDE rating of 1600. His talents extend beyond chess—he has a natural gift for the piano and is often sought out by friends for help with schoolwork. Recognizing his exceptional abilities, his teacher has even entrusted him with assisting classmates, especially during math lessons.
His parents, Mauli and Nischal, both engineers, began noticing their son’s extraordinary abilities when he was just four. Mauli, who works in IT, recalled, “At that age, he was doing things far beyond what a typical four-year-old could do. He could read fluently, had excellent spelling, and showed a remarkable talent for mathematics. I remember him sitting with me for three hours just before his fourth birthday and completing an entire math book. By then, he was already doing decimal divisions. In year three, he was sent home with the curriculum for the entire year and finished it in a single day. Whatever he sets his mind to, he strives to excel.”
