US Presidential Debate: Twitterati say Karl Becker is the winner
Clinton chose to praise Trump's children while Trump said Clinton doesn't give up and that she is a fighter.

Washington: Karl Becker, who asked Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to name one positive thing that they respect in one another, is being widely praised on social media for bringing some positivity into a combative race.
Clinton chose to praise Trump’s children while Trump said Clinton “doesn’t give up” and that she is a fighter.
While the depth and sincerity of the compliments might be in question, the moment managed to break through the oppressive blanket of tension that had settled over the entire proceeding. The two candidates had not shaken each other’s hand as the debate began. But after it ended, they did.
Social media immediately reacted, cheering Becker on for ending the debate on a positive note. “Karl Becker, you just won this #Debate with that closing question,” a Twitter user posted.
Another wrote: “The only redeeming part of tonight was that last question. I actually almost cried. #debate.”
