Nab arrests PTI minister for graft
The anti-corruption watchdog had summoned Aleem Khan at Lahore office for interrogation.
Islamabad: Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau on Wednesday arrested ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan a Punjab provincial minister in connection with offshore companies scandal.
The anti-corruption watchdog had summoned Aleem Khan at Lahore office for interrogation. The investigation officials were reportedly not satisfied with the records provided by him.
The accused will be produced before the accountability court on January 7.
Abdul Aleem Khan has resigned as Punjab Minister for Local Governments and Community Develo-pment after his arrest. He has announced to face the case in the court.
