NephroPlus launched fourth dialysis centre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan under the partnership with the Uzbekistan ministry of health

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-headquartered dialysis service provider NephroPlus said it had launched the world's largest dialysis centre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This is the fourth dialysis centre that it set up in under the partnership with the Uzbekistan ministry of health.

The new centre is the largest standalone dialysis facility with a 160-bed set-up, serving more than 900 patients in Tashkent. The four centres will cater to at least 1,100 patients, providing care through hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services. Additionally, the new facility will also offer vascular surgery, nephrology consultation, lab services and train local clinical staff.

"With the launch of the new facility in Tashkent, we have raised the benchmark of dialysis care in Uzbekistan,” said Vikram Vuppala, founder and chief executive officer, NephroPlus.
