NEW DELHI: In the wake of waves of protests by far-right and anti-immigrant elements in Britain that has left the country's new Labour government scrambling for an effective response, the Indian High Commission in London issued an advisory asking visiting Indian citizens to remain vigilant and be cautious. The Indian high commission stated in its advisory, "Visitors from India are advised to stay vigilant and exercise due caution while travelling in the UK. It is advisable to follow local news and advisories issued by the local security agencies and to avoid areas where protests are underway."
